Each Sunday, Catholic Forum brings you a brief reflection, the proclamation of the Sunday Gospel by a Deacon or Priest of the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, a musical selection, and an interview of about 15 minutes in length. Catholic Forum is the longest-running Catholic talk show on radio, having begun in 1939 on WDEL in Wilmington, Delaware. A new program debuts at 6:30 a.m. ET each Sunday Morning. Additionally, “FLASHBACK” is a Catholic Forum interview that aired sometime over the last 20 years. It is exclusive content for podcast listeners and debuts each Wednesday morning. Catholic Forum is a production of the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington.

Archbishop Broglio was ordained to the priesthood (for the Diocese of Cleveland) on 19 May 1977 in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception of the North American College, Rome.

From 1977 to 1979 he served as associate pastor, St. Margaret Mary Parish, South Euclid. From 1979 to 1983 Archbishop Broglio attended the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy.

From 1983 to 1987 the Archbishop served as Secretary of the Apostolic Nunciature in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. From 1987 to 1990 he served as Secretary of the Apostolic Nunciature in Asunscion, Paraguay. From 1990 to 2001 Archbishop Broglio served as Chief of Cabinet for Angelo Cardinal Sodano, Secretary of State to His Holiness Pope John Paul II and desk officer for Central America.

In February 2001 the Archbishop was named Apostolic Nuncio to the Dominican Republic and Apostolic Delegate to Puerto Rico. The Archbishop was ordained as an Archbishop by His Holiness Pope John Paul II on 19 March 2001.

On 19 November 2007 Archbishop Broglio was named the fourth Archbishop of the Military Services, USA, and installed on 25 January 2008, the feast of the Conversion of St. Paul.

He is a frequent speaker at parishes and conferences across the country and is recognized as the leading Catholic speaker on the topic of overcoming anxiety. In addition, Gary is the Director of Parish Services for Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church in North Wales, PA, a regular guest on EWTN TV & Radio and was the creator and host of Spirit In The Morning which aired on Holy Spirit Radio in Philadelphia from 2016-2018. His work has appeared in The National Catholic RegisterCatholic Digest and Catholic Exchange. Gary resides in South Jersey with his wife Eileen and daughters Mary and Elizabeth. They are members of St. Joan of Arc Parish in Marlton, NJ.
