Catholic Forum

Each Saturday, Catholic Forum brings you a brief reflection, the proclamation of the Sunday Gospel by a Deacon or Priest of the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, a musical selection, an interview of 15-20 minutes in length, and on most shows, an episode of Modern Day Witness, by Father Rich Jasper. Catholic Forum is the longest-running Catholic talk show on radio, having begun in 1939 on a radio station in Wilmington, Delaware. It is now heard every Saturday morning at 11:00 on Relevant Radio 640 and is heard in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area as well as throughout the State of Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore. As soon as it finishes airing on the radio, a new program podcast debuts at 11:30 a.m. ET each Saturday Morning. Additionally, “FLASHBACK” is a Catholic Forum interview that aired sometime over the last 20 years. It is exclusive content for podcast listeners and debuts each Wednesday morning. Catholic Forum is a production of the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington.

On this edition of Catholic Forum, after an introduction, the Sunday Gospel, and a song from Marty Haugen's CD, "All Are Welcome," we will meet speaker, author, and stand-up comedian, Katie McKenna. Yes, she was actually run over by a truck. Her new book tells the amazing and inspirational story of that awful day and how her faith helped to get her through it and the many months of painful rehab that followed.
