Each Saturday, Catholic Forum brings you a news update from The Dialog, the official news source for the Diocese of Wilmington, and an interview segment of about 21 minutes in length. Catholic Forum is the longest-running Catholic talk show on radio, having begun in 1939 on a radio station in Wilmington, Delaware. It is now heard every Saturday afternoon at 1:30 on Relevant Radio 640 and is heard in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area as well as throughout the State of Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore. As soon as it finishes airing on the radio, a new program podcast debuts at 2:00 p.m. ET each Saturday afternoon. Catholic Forum is a production of the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington

November 1 - 7 is National Vocations Awareness Week. Father tells us about the men in formation for the Priesthood for the diocese and how we can help foster vocations in our homes and parishes.

On this episode of Catholic Forum, after a brief introduction, the Gospel for the 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time, and a musical selection from the "Catholic Treasures" CD, we will talk to Susan Brinkmann, author and award winning journalist. Susan is a member of the Third Order of Discalced Carmelites. She is the staff journalist for Women of GraceĀ® and is a frequent guest on EWTN's Women of GraceĀ® television show. She formerly worked as a Correspondent for the Catholic Standard & Times, the newspaper for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Susan's latest book is titled,"Fight Like a Catholic: Spiritual Warfare in the Catholic Tradition." In this interview, Susan tells us who Satan is and how we can protect ourselves and our families from his aggressive activity in our modern world.

On this episode of Catholic Forum, after a brief introduction, the Gospel for the 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time, a song from the CD "Then Sings My Soul: The Best of The Priests," we will pray the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary with Bishop Francis Malooly and students from five Diocese of Wilmington Catholic schools. Students from Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Wilmington, Delaware lead the First Glorious Mystery. The Second Glorious Mystery is led by students from Most Blessed Sacrament School in Berlin, Maryland. Students from Saint Francis de Sales School in Salisbury, Maryland lead the Third Glorious Mystery. Cathedral of Saint Peter School students lead the Fourth Glorious Mystery. The Fifth Glorious Mystery is led by students from Easton Maryland's Saints Peter and Paul Elementary School.

Molly will tell us about the MCC and its work to promote life in the State of Maryland and ways for us all to help promote a culture of life during Respect Life Month and always. Also, Father Rich Jasper will tell us about another Modern Day Witness.
