Each Saturday, Catholic Forum brings you a news update from The Dialog, the official news source for the Diocese of Wilmington, and an interview segment of about 21 minutes in length. Catholic Forum is the longest-running Catholic talk show on radio, having begun in 1939 on a radio station in Wilmington, Delaware. It is now heard every Saturday afternoon at 1:30 on Relevant Radio 640 and is heard in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area as well as throughout the State of Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore. As soon as it finishes airing on the radio, a new program podcast debuts at 2:00 p.m. ET each Saturday afternoon. Catholic Forum is a production of the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington

On this episode of Catholic Forum, after a news update from The Dialog, we talk to Catherine DiNuzzo, MA, a Licensed Professional Counselor who operates DiNuzzo Counseling (DC), offering traditional counseling from a Catholic perspective, in a virtual format.  She has been in private practice since 2010. Catherine is faithful to the Magisterium and operates her practice in that same manner. She is also the founder of Sacred Heart Mental Wellness and author of the book, "The Catholic Guide Through Anxiety." Deacon Dennis was ordained by Bishop Koenig to the Transitional Diaconate on May 11, 2024. Born in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Deacon Dennis talks about his early life in Africa, his calling to the Priesthood, the circuitous journey that led him to the Diocese of Wilmington, and what he is looking forward to doing as a Deacon and eventually as a Priest. Anna is a rising senior at Padua Academy in Wilmington, Delaware who has Tourette's Syndrome, a condition that causes people to make involuntary sounds and movements called tics. Anna tells what it's like to have this condition, how her Catholic school and upbringing has helped her.  Her dad, Al, shares how a family can help those with the condition. On this episode of Catholic Forum, after a news update from The Dialog, Bob Krebs is joined by Mr. John McClement and Mr. Robin Bryson - both long-time friends of Gene Donnelly. Gene served as host of Catholic Forum and Director of Communications of the Diocese of Wilmington from 1970 until his retirement in 2000. Gene passed away on April 17, 2024 at the age of 87. Robin, John and Bob look back at Gene's impact on the people of the Diocese of Wilmingon.
