Each Saturday, Catholic Forum brings you a news update from The Dialog, the official news source for the Diocese of Wilmington, and an interview segment of about 21 minutes in length. Catholic Forum is the longest-running Catholic talk show on radio, having begun in 1939 on a radio station in Wilmington, Delaware. It is now heard every Saturday afternoon at 1:30 on Relevant Radio 640 and is heard in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area as well as throughout the State of Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore. As soon as it finishes airing on the radio, a new program podcast debuts at 2:00 p.m. ET each Saturday afternoon. Catholic Forum is a production of the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington

On this special episode of Catholic Forum, after a news update from The Dialog and a sample track from the CD "Catholic Treasures," we talk with the Bishop of the Diocese of Wilmington, the Most Reverend William E. Koenig. November has been set aside in the diocese to remind us of the importance of the Eucharist to our Catholic Faith. All month, our clergy have been highlighting the Eucharist and the Mass in their Sunday homilies, additionally, the week of November 26 through December 2 has been named Eucharistic Adoration Week when all churches will have time set aside for adoration. Bishop Koenig talks about this National Eucharistic Revival initiative in our diocese on this episode of Catholic Forum. On this episode of Catholic Forum, after a news update from The Dialog, we speak with David Shellenberger, President and CEO of the Saint John Vianney Center which has served the mind, body and spirit of Catholic clergy and men and women religious since 1946. We learn about the “Day of Prayer for the Health and Wellness of Clergy and Men and Women Religious,” hosted by Saint John Vianney Center (SJVC). It will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023. The event will be live streamed from Our Lady of Hope Chapel on the campus of SJVC. Next, we talk to Father Brian Lewis, Pastor of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Lewes, Delaware about the October 7, 2023 Marian Pilgrimage to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. Ms. Lynne Betts is the Vice President of the Eastern Region of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, that includes Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. Mr. Chuck Miller is the President of the St. Vincent de Paul, Wilmington Council that is made up of all the conferences in the Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore. Inspired by Gospel values​​, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization that leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually in the offer of person to person service to those in need and who are suffering.
