Each Saturday, Catholic Forum brings you a news update from The Dialog, the official news source for the Diocese of Wilmington, and an interview segment of about 21 minutes in length. Catholic Forum is the longest-running Catholic talk show on radio, having begun in 1939 on a radio station in Wilmington, Delaware. It is now heard every Saturday afternoon at 1:30 on Relevant Radio 640 and is heard in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area as well as throughout the State of Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore. As soon as it finishes airing on the radio, a new program podcast debuts at 2:00 p.m. ET each Saturday afternoon. Catholic Forum is a production of the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington

MERRY CHRISTMAS! On this episode of Catholic Forum, we present our annual Christmas Special. After a brief introduction and the Gospel for Christmas Day, we will hear Bishop W. Francis Malooly's annual Christmas message to the people of the Diocese of Wilmington. We will also hear some beautiful Christmas hymns performed by the Saint Thomas More Concert Choir, under the direction of Ms. Lorraine Steinhoff, and the Saint Thomas More Liturgical Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Ashley Solecki. He was back in the Diocese of Wilmington in August 2016 to give a keynote address to teachers and administrators of the Catholic schools of Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore. Margaret Consiglio has been a member of the Cathedral parish since the 1960's. Michael Davidson has been the Director of Liturgical Music for the Cathedral since the 1980's. Together they tell the story of this lovely and historic church that has been a part of the City of Wilmington for 200 years.

On this episode of Catholic Forum, after a brief introduction and the Gospel for the Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, we pay tribute to Ms. A. Dorothy Arthur, one of the founders of this program. Dorothy was a college student in 1939 she was a part of a group of lay people who decided to create a Catholic radio program on WDEL-AM in Wilmington, Delaware. Dorothy was also key in creating the Catholic Broadcasting Association, which was later named UNDA-USA, and now operates under the name Catholic Academy of Communication Professionals. Dorothy passed away on June 17, 2016 at the age of 95. On this program, we present an interview with Dorothy that first aired on Catholic Forum in April 2014 as the program celebrated its 75th anniversary.
